Apple Crisp

8       Servings
 
5	large Granny Smith apples
1	juiced lemon
1/2	cup sugar
1	teaspoon cinnamon,  
3/4	cup flour
1/2	cup brown sugar
8	tablespoons unsalted butter

	whipping cream


Heat oven to 350 degrees. 

Peel, core, and slice the apples, about 5 cups of slices. Drizzle lemon juice over them. Mix granulated sugar and apples together and put in 12 x 8 pan. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Mix flour and brown sugar; cut in the butter. Cover apples with this mixture. 

Bake 40 minutes or until topping is golden brown. 

Top with whipped cream.
